Synopsis:
A classic horror/action/adventure coated copiously with spicy Bollywood masala. In this, a coven of vampires traveling under the guise of a caravan of nautanki, a gypsy circus band, appears in the deserts of Rajasthan, luring unsuspecting villagers. They feed on every living soul as the night falls, leaving a boy as a sole witness of their gruesome attack. Years later, the boy, Asif, now a smuggler along with a custodian cop, Jai, gets stranded in the desert with the border security force and their volatile officer, Daroga Bhairo Singh, and his beautiful niece, Durga. The arrival of the caravan of nautanki takes a chilling turn as the night falls. Asif escaped once, but is his fate sealed this time with the bloody encounter with the vamparish sirens?
AWE-someness:
The art is amazing, and so is the story with vampires giving it an Indian-centric touch.

My Review:
This is a wonderful take on the Western vampirish culture. It’s the first of the trilogy to be out. Later followed by the prequel and then a sequel. This is a little bit spicy, their and sizzling panels did work their wonder in vividly unleashing the gory horror. With spicy-Bollywood masala, the dialogues become cheery and hilarious. It’s a good read. I guess among the Indian comic series, the entire caravan set needs a good clap. Also, heard that it’s gonna be a full-fledged flick sometime.
