Avengers: Armageddon kicks off with an underrated MCU villain

In Marvel, the Avengers have to face an extinction-level threat, which is not a new thing, as their power and alliance are put to the test.

Red Hulk initiates the Avengers: Armageddon event in Marvel Comics.

Synopsis: Following the events of One World Under Doom, a new threat emerges with a cataclysmic tone, claiming to be the origin of the end. Launched in June, Avengers: Armageddon, a five-issue series, follows Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, aka Red Hulk, claiming Doom’s homeland, Latveria, for himself. This ignites a global crisis and threatens to destabilize the fragile balance between nations and superpowered individuals, and it calls for the Avengers to intervene. This confrontation leads to explosive escalations, forcing them to unleash a power that changes how the world views Earth’s Mightiest Heroes forever.

And when the smoke clears, a new era of Avengers begins later this year.

Chip Zdarsky collaborates with artists Frank Alpizar and Delio Diaz to chronicle the conflict.

How will it be a true breaking point for the heroes, resulting in an ‘actual’ is yet to be known. Above all this, Marvel is all set to do more wild things with Hulk flavor, as a massive Hulk War is all set to break loose in ’27.

Avengers: Armageddon is now available at stores.
