With the Multiverse Saga nearing its end, Daredevil: Born Again Season 03 gets an official update from Charlie Cox
It’s not been very long, but the MCU has decided to pull the plug off the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen after Season 03
Yeah, 2027 will mark the end of an era for the Man without Fear, officially, after appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Earlier, at an interview with Screen Rant’s Liam Crowley at New York Comic Con 2026, when Charlie Cox was asked if it was the last of his time in the MCU, he responded, “Do I think we have seen Matt for the last time? I honestly don’t know; I’d hate to speculate, but I don’t think so. I think there will be something; [it] might not be for a long time, but there are [ways] I think he will show up somehow, somewhere.
Vincent D’Onofrio, playing The Kingpin aka Wilson Fisk, took to X to convey the message about the series’ end. He shared “We so enjoyed bringing @Daredevil Born Again to you all. You stuck with us and i like to think we stuck with you. We have the final Season, season 3 heading your way next year with some very cool stuff. Much love to all who have been supportive. I love that character Fisk. Always will. Off to another neck off the woods. Meanwhile…Season 3 is coming!”
But amidst all this, we will get to see a proper Defenders reunion in Daredevil: Born Again Season 03, with Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones already back in Season 02 and Mike Colter’s Luke Cage too, making a cameo in Season 02’s finale; we are gonna have Finn Jones’ Danny Rand aka Iron Fist returning in Season 03 in 2027 (some production pics revealed it).
And as the icing on the cake, Elodie Yung will also return as Elektra for the final season — her first appearance since The Defenders ended, a decade back.
