Synopsis:
Peter, Gwen, Harry, MJ – it was all going well, or rather, was supposed to go well. This is the story of how Gwen Stacy fell in love with Peter Parker. This is one of Spider-Man’s life, as he recalls how he almost won Gwen as he fought against a gauntlet of villains hired by a mysterious figure.
AWEsomeness:
The plot is really exciting, enticing, and superb. The art and plot go hand in hand and give this book a classic feel.

My Review:
Gwen Stacy is one such character who touched hearts when the multiverse was still not explored, like now. Some characters, such as Gwen Stacy of Earth-616, have impacted us profoundly. MJ is great, but there’s something about Gwen that no MJ or any other Gwen variant or anyone can ever replace. When Emma Stone played Gwen Stacy, she was perfect, superb, in fact, she was ultrasupercalifragilisticexpialidocious! So, when I found the real Gwen Stacy’s story is said here, I wanted to have it. And tbh, this is one of the best Spidey books ever. This is romantic and sweet, filled with action. This is a Valentine’s story…a perfect Valentine’s story. This story tells how Peter won Gwen against the odds. Gwen’s nature is depicted well in this arc. This is a heart-touching story, and it tells us why we miss Gwen. Oh, speaking of missing Gwen, I thought I would never know someone who misses Gwen, and here in this book, there’s an intro from Jeph Loeb, and Gwen has touched his heart, too. Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, with an emotionally stirring work on Spider-Man, bring a wonderful Gwen Stacy story to enjoy. This is more of a love letter sort of thing in the whole of Spidey’s life. A must-have book for all fans of Gwen Stacy (No matter if the Gwen you love is the real one or a clone, or from another universe) and Spider-Man alike.
