Dr. Steven, after the death of the Scream symbiote, harvested samples obtained from the skin and blood of its host, Andi Benton. His efforts to resuscitate the Scream symbiote failed, and he combined its remains with a sample of Anti-Venom Serum, creating a new symbiote.
Andi, after being mortally wounded by Phage on Carnage’s order, bonded to this new symbiote, taking it to be Scream. Characterizing itself as the absence of Scream, it dubbed itself as Silence and defeated Phage.

The Silence symbiote seemingly possesses the powers of the Scream symbiote and the Anti-Venom symbiote.
