Homelander vs. Superman in DC K.O.
DC is currently airing one of the biggest events of the year, DC K.O., written by Joshua Williamson and Scott Snyder with art by Javi Fernandez and Alejandro Sánchez. This is a fighting tournament where the winner chosen as the King Omega will fight Darkseid, averting his rule over reality. Sounds interesting, right?

This year’s NYCC, as always, had thrilling announcements, but the one that had the fans shout with excitement was that The Boys Homelander is heading to a new universe for a hell of a battle. In the Jim Lee and Friends panel, Scott Snyder revealed that there would be some special guests, from across the greater multiverse, appearing in the bonus level of the competition after DC heroes open up a pocket dimension.
Among these special guests are Red Sonja, Vampirella, Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat, Annabelle, the haunted doll from The Conjuring series, Samantha from Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees, and Homelander from The Boys.

Yup, this is not just a rumor or a fan’s dream, but the hard truth; we’ll have a canonical battle we’ve all been waiting for, Homelander vs. Superman.
Fans have always seen Homelander as one of the evil versions of the Kryptonian, after all, Superman is the inspiration behind the existence of Homelander. Both have unbeatable powers and are polar opposites in every way. And how a clash between both will go is always something everyone would love to see.
In times, we have seen Superman battle his evil versions like Ultraman of Crime Syndicate, many times, Dark Multiverse Supermen, Superboy Prime, who became evil, and so on, but this is something we are all eager to see: his clash with Homelander. Homelander vs. Superman is a debate long overdue, which got overzealous with the onscreen adaptation of The Boys.
This DC K.O. is all set to give the excitement that everyone has been waiting for. For now, all we know is that the DC K.O. spl/bonus issue that will release in February 2026 will have the duel.
