Sony Pictures swinging around the Spider-Verse with another flick
Currently, MCU’s Spider-Man 4 news and rumors are flying around…to be precise…swinging around…of Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle aka The Punisher and Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk coming up in Spider-Man 4.
But there’s another Spidey project getting ready to swing by, as we await Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
Yup, Sony Pictures Animation is developing a feature-length film centered on Hobie Brown, aka Spider-Punk, from Earth-138. Spider-Punk, aka Hobart Brown (Hobie Brown, made his appearance in the 2nd Spider-Verse flick, Across the Spider-Verse, voiced by Nope and Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya.

HB’s personality and tone were something different, an amalgamation of anti-establishment mentality and a rebellious personality, all in a punk rock style.
Also, there’s news of Spider-Noir live-action being filmed with Nicholas Cage. With all these underway, it seems Sony won’t be handing their rights to the MCU any time soon, at least! They aren’t fiddling around.
