The Saudi-based QIC takes it up to grant the wishes to bring the Dragon Balls Alive

A Saudi-based Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) has announced an initiation of the construction of a one-of-a-kind with a Dragon Ball theme park as part of its “Qiddiya Giga Project”. With this QIC is making anime fans dissolve completely into the Dragon Ball reality. This comes after Qiddiya signed a long-term deal with Toei Animations (Original animators of the series).

Goku and his friends, foes and Dragon Balls are unforgettable to the anime fans. No matter how many years pass, Goku shouting Kaa-mee-haa-mee-Haaaaa never gets old. As per the Dragon Ball Theme Park Official Site, about 40 minutes from Riyadh, this park extends 500,000+ sq. mts, recreating varying iconic locations like Kame house, Capsule Corporation, Kami’s lookout, Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Beerus’ planet, etc. and moments throughout the series. Visitors will find themselves enjoying from the very beginning of the anime through Dragon Ball Super with the help of the 7 distinct-themed zones inspired by the 7 Dragon Balls as 7 giant Dragon Balls.

Featuring five state-of-the-art rides along with numerous attractions for the visitors’ amazement. And guess what’s the main attraction? It’s a 70-mtr high Shenron with a large roller-coaster on the list. Apart from these fun rides, there will be hotels for the visitors to stay at themed in-park hotels and restaurants to keep the Dragon Ball theme alive.

Abdullah Aldawood, Managing Director of Qiddiya Investment Company, and Katsuhiro Takagi, President of Toei Animation, are positive that this will be an immersive experience bridging cultures and enhancing the timeless legacy of the franchise to a new level.
