The arc partly inspired Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises
DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation have announced that Batman: Knightfall Part 1 will premiere next month at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
Yeah, Warner Bros. Animation shared this with a news clip from The Hollywood Reporter on their official Instagram handle, with the caption “We’ll see you at Annecy!”

Annecy Film Fest is scheduled from June 21 to June 27.
Batman: Knightfall is a 3-part saga consisting of Knightfall, Knightquest, and KnightsEnd, that ran from April 1993–1994. The arc partly inspired Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
This film’s screenplay is by Jeremy Adams, directed by Jeff Wamster, produced by Jim Krieg and Kimberly S. Moreau, and executive produced by Sam Register and Michael Uslan.
An official date of the release hasn’t been announced yet.
The official plot synopsis for Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall reads, “When the mysterious behemoth known only as Bane frees Batman’s entire Rogue’s Gallery from Arkham Asylum, the Caped Crusader is pushed to his mental and physical breaking point.”
Other than this update, DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation will present exclusive first looks and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks for some upcoming DC animated projects, which include Mister Miracle, My Adventures with Green Lantern, Starfire!, DC Super Powers, Creature Commandos, and Batman: Caped Crusader.
