A forgotten Super Saiyan form much needed to shine beside the Beast and the Ultras!

In Dragon Ball Super, we have seen powerful levels coming into play. Besides Beast Gohan, Ultra Instinct Goku, and Ultra Ego Vegeta, fans are going crazy to see Broly and Trunks play out something unique. If Broly taps into Ultra Primal form, he will join ranks with the only two original saiyans with a unique power. While all are waiting to see the three original Saiyans tap into unique divine abilities. No one can forget Trunks and his Super Saiyan Rage form.

Super Saiyans are the unique points of the Dragon Ball series, and most of the arcs hinge on that. And pure rage acts as the supreme catalyst to reach higher levels. Goku first unlocked Super Saiyan mode against Frieza when Krillin was blown up on Namek. Other than Goku, his sons, and Trunks, appearing somewhat tame and brought up on Earth, other saiyans like Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta, and Broly have all exhibited their greater affinity for violence and war.

Just like the unique personalities and abilities of Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Broly, the only Saiyan who has exhibited a unique power utilizing both rage and composure is the son of Vegeta. Trunks unlocked this form in a face-off with Zamasu in Dragon Ball Super, although the Super Saiyan Rage mode isn’t there in the manga yet. With likes of UI and UE, and the Beast, a form more powerful than SSR, but more of a berserker in control state, creating another anomaly, Omega Rage. With this level, Trunks can increase his power to the limits his body can bear. This form can help bring Trunks into the mainstream narrative.

After all, as aforementioned, rage is considered to be the foundation of Super Saiyan abilities.
