Marvel released new teaser for Deadpool & Wolverine series

After the year’s blockbuster success of Deadpool & Wolverine, the unlikely duos is teaming up again, and this is not for a sequel of which the rumors are in the air.  

The movie plot had Ryan Reynolds paired with Hugh Jackman and a few others like X-23, Blade, Elecktra, and Gambit team up to save the multiverse from an impending doom to be unleashed by Cassandra Nova.  

It’s no big surprise that Marvel Comics will try to make moolah with the fan-loved duo who has left them wanting more. The duo has come together in a few titles before, but this new Deadpool/Wolverine series will be the first since the movie. It will also see the creators, Benjamin Percy and Joshua Cassara coming together.

The debut Deadpool/Wolverine #1 hits the stands on Jan 1, 2025, and will see the return of an X-Men villain with revelations about their shared history.

“…We started working on this series long before we ever saw Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds tear each other apart in a Honda Odyssey,” Percy says. “So I can’t say it was an influence…”. Percy also teased a crazy revelation at the end of Deadpool/Wolverine #1, with the future and past coming together in the present cataclysmically.

 Let’s hope, this new series will inspire more movies in the future!
