“… for me, her story ended with her going off…” says the Iron Fist star

Marvel Studios is mostly bringing back more of the old Netflix Marvel gang with Daredevil: Born Again by incorporating them into the MCU.

Most of the main stars are being roped in, but it seems not everyone is ready to join the bigger MCU chaos.

In her recent discussions with Marvel Studios about reprising her role as Colleen Wing in Daredevil: Born Again Season 03, Jessica Henwick decided to walk out.

The star revealed, “We did have talks about whether I should go back this season. But for me, her story ended with her going off into the sunset. She has the Iron Fist.”

Jessica’s Colleen Wing is one of the most-loved characters in Netflix’s Marvel, and Jessica portrayed her very well. One could feel the character’s positive energy and charismatic nature.

Jessica felt Colleen’s story had reached a satisfying conclusion and plans to preserve her ending in Iron Fist Season 2.

Colleen Wing is a Japanese martial artist who, with the help of Iron Fist, avenged her grandfather’s death. She is the current wielder of the Mind Stone and is a member of the Infinity Watch.

Now, how the MCU will respond to the character’s presence in the MCU is yet to be seen.
