One of Batsy’s darkest moments is arriving soon as a three-part animated flick

DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation are at last bringing one of the Darkest Knight’s unforgettable moments to life.

Yup, you read that right. Batman: Knightfall Part 1’s official release date has been confirmed. The highly anticipated animated adaptation will arrive digitally on Aug 25, followed by a 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on Sept 8.

Batman: Knightfall Part 1 is the first part of the three-part story. It will star Anson Mount as Batman, Michael Mando as Bane, and Pablo Schreiber as Azrael, directed by Jeff Wamester with a screenplay by Jeremy Adams. Parts 2 and 3 are scheduled for late 2026 and early 2027.

Batman: Knightfall is a 3-part saga consisting of Knightfall, Knightquest, and KnightsEnd, that ran from April 1993–1994.

Well, it’s time we saw the event in action after last seeing it loosely portrayed in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
