Amazon
Synopsis:
Opal Koboi has escaped, and she’s out for revenge. Her plan to start a war between the humans and fairies is nearing completion, and once again, Artemis is caught in the crosshairs with no memory of his fairy friend, Captain Holly Short, or her world. To survive Opal’s master plan, Artemis’ got to reconnect with Holly and his own memories. But will his keen intellect be enough to outsmart this pixie villain; this is a battle of the genuises…
AWEsomeness:
The plot is cool with the comeback energy leaking from every pore of the pages. And once again, as good as it can be, as its predecessors.

My Review:
The series was discontinued after this, but the novel version is complete with 8 stories + 2 short stories, i.e., as 8 + ½ + ½ = 9 books. Anyway, the story is really exciting as Opal returns with her new plans to conquer, and Artemis is the only one who can stop her. But to face Opal, Artemis Fowl is required to get back his old memories. Again, Eoin Colfer, Andrew Donkin, Giovanni Rigan, and Paolo Lamanna did a wonderful job, as the readers can feel the tension and the energy building between the pages. The pages are filled with explosive actions and colors.
I was hoping at least the next 4 main books would be recreated as graphic novels, but that never happened.
