The co-CEO of DC Studios gives an exciting response
The work at DC Studios is going fine as more films and series are lining up, after Superman‘s success. Other than that, Matt Reeves’ The Batman Universe will continue to exist more like an Elseworlds project.
Andy Muschietti is all set to direct The Brave and the Bold. And besides that, another Batman project is underway, Clayface. The movie gets R-rated with more of a gruesome horror approach to the Batman villain, Clayface.
But with more interesting villains in Batman’s rogue files, one user asked one of the long-awaited questions to James Gunn on Threads. The user asked about the existence of Catwoman in the DCU.

Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy and Superman filmmaker replied with a vague reply, confirming that the plans for the character are in motion. Although he didn’t confirm a specific timestamp for Catwoman’s debut, his reply has left many excited.
We may get a glimpse of Catwoman or a full sight of her in TBTB, whose script is yet to be finished. Zoë Kravitz played Selina Kyle/Catwoman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. There was a Gotham City Sirens planned in the DCEU, but it never materialized. And with Catwoman, a Bat-Cat chemistry fuels the plot, always.

Now with James Gunn’s DCU, there’re many possibilities for Selina Kyle/Catwoman to play out and cross paths with Batman. We can wait and see what more will be revealed in the coming times.
