Synopsis:

Batman may have been dead/missing, but Gotham City’s criminals and crimefighters had their actions unfolding. In these interconnecting tales of Batman’s greatest allies and enemies, friends, foes, and loved ones, we see the Insider pave a way for Batman’s future.

AWEsomeness:

The plot is interesting, and the art, too, is fine and enticing.

My Review:

This is just an average-mediocrish read. The 8 collected one-shots redefine his relationship with his family after his return from being supposedly dead. The major focus of this book is to showcase Bruce Wayne watching his family as The Insider and commenting on their pros and cons. The stories on Stephanie, Barbara, Commissioner Gordon, and Catwoman were the good ones in the cluster. This is a somewhat okay read, coming after ‘Batman: Return of Bruce Wayne’ and before Batman makes his official return with new changes!

Rating: 3/5 stars
