Synopsis:

After the events of Final Crisis, Vanishing Point, or the place where time itself comes to an end, is tearing itself apart. And to mend it, Bruce Wayne must be retrieved from the time stream. Rip Hunter, Superman, Green Lantern, and Booster Gold come together in search of the World’s Greatest Detective across time.

AWEsomeness:

An interesting plot with a contingency plan already set in motion. The art resonates well with the plot.

My Review:

This book is an interesting companion to Batman: Return of Bruce Wayne. One would think, yeah, you have Superman, Green Lantern, and Rip Hunter search for Bruce Wayne, across time; what can possibly go wrong!? But as we know, nothing is ever easy when it comes to Batman, and things do go haywire. Rip’s love for his father and his dedication to preserving time are shown in small but hardcore details, as the major part of the book sticks to the main core of the story, i.e., Superman, Booster Gold, Rip Hunter, Skeets, and Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), looking for Bruce Wayne, across time. The plot resonates well with the dangers of time travel that the team faces. This book intriguingly sets up important roles for others and a few forgotten characters, and delivers on hope and trust among friends.
