Synopsis:

A war has arrived, and all that stands between Earth and 100,000 vengeful supermen is one Superman!

The final chapter of the NEW KRYPTON story arc is tagged as the 100-minute war!

The Man of Steel must prevent the war between the two worlds he loves from annihilating each other. General Sam Lane and all of Earth’s heroes on one side against General Zod and his army of vengeful super-powered Kryptonians, and Superman caught in between, setting a new status quo.

AWE-someness:

The action-packed art is very explosive and intriguing, just like the plot.

My Review:

The last book of the arc is a good, action-packed volume. The plot is well-handled, explaining the cultural differences and tensions brewing between the two worlds. It shows how cultures resonate, escalating fear, tension, and mistrust from the smallest of concerns they hold for each other. The fate of New Krypton is rendered destructive as Zod is shown to be a manipulative leader with an agenda of his own. The plot and art are really superb. The New Kryptonian superheroes, Nightwing and Flamebird, Zod and his army, along with General Lane, Superwoman, and Supergirl, make this book action-packed and dynamic.

Rating: 5/5 stars
