Gotham City Sirens #14-19
Amazon
Synopsis:
This volume brings two stories, one of Poison Ivy under the spell of a plant alien and the second one is where Batman’s lovers clash to maintain his identity after his presumed death in the Final Crisis, fighting against Darkseid. This isn’t any silly catfight coz silly feuds don’t have you being killed, but here one man’s identity can rupture the Sirens forever.
AWEsomeness:
The story is really interesting, and the beautiful art is well done. The fear of betrayal, trust, and tensions are well depicted between the ladies for the Bat.

My Review:
One of the exciting books in which the Gotham City Sirens have the limelight on them. But this time the core of GCS is shaken. As Catwoman is coming to terms, after battling her sister, Poison Ivy’s career too tuens unexpectedly. After that, when two are trying to figure out what the biggest Gotham secret is two new players enter with an agenda—safeguard it at all costs. And trapped between them is Selina Kyle. The tension between the sirens and the lovers of the Bat is displayed magnificently. This is an all-out battle of the three femmes connected to the Bat in one way or the other. The path of the story is really exciting and you can call it a tie-in to Batman: Return of Bruce Wayne, especially the second story. The beautifully drawn panels are wonders for the arc displaying the depth of the brutal ends the ladies are ready to take for Bruce. Tony Bedard, Peter Calloway, and Andres Guinaldo did a beautiful job of bringing Gotham femme fatales together and have created an explosive fun-laden book for the keep. It’s a good read and also has the Bat essence captured in it, and shows that Bat’s ladies are not the ones to be messed with!
