Synopsis:

The story unfolds a few years after the events of its prequel ‘Wolverine: Origin’. Something brings James back into the land of the civilized and afoul of someone Sinister. If not stopped, Sinister will unleash a horror that could change everyone’s perspective towards the mutant kind.

AWEsomeness:

The plot is good, and so is the art.

My View:

It’s a good read. As I’ve mentioned above, the plot and art are good, but it lacked the vibe that its prequel had. This story plays out like a stand-alone Wolverine adventure or more like ‘another Wolverine story’.

The artwork is really stunning, but other than that, there is not much of anything new, except for a Creedish flavor to the story, and so is the depiction of his life after the events of the first. The introduction of others was pretty smooth, but rough at the same time. This plot marks one of the earliest interactions between Wolverine and Mister Sinister, setting the stage for their complex encounters in the future. It’s a fun read, albeit it wasn’t as great as its predecessor!
