Synopsis:
When Marine Biologist Lee Archer is approached by the Department of Homeland Security, she sees herself plunging to the depths of the Arctic Circle to uncover a secret that appears miraculous and terrifying at the same time. And when things take a wrong turn, the secret underwater oil rig from a safe haven turns into a house of horrors at the bottom of the ocean.
AWE-someness:
The story is an amazing read, and the art is in a sketchy pattern, but amazing.

My review:
This is a great concept for sci-fi horror with strong female protagonists. Terrorizing sea creatures and the apt storylines make it a genuinely exciting, enticing read with the right amount of ingredients to keep a reader on the edge. The book is a good thriller-fun to read, with a great panache of imagination. The reclaiming of the planet, the two polar opposite species, and the thirst for war make the story intriguing, though in some pages for a minor moment, it felt like it was losing its pace; but it moves, regaining the pace soon enough. The story transitions three time periods: the near future, the future post-two centuries, and the distant past. The art and the plot make it very gripping and keep you anxious to read on.
