After the events of Convergence, Lois and Clark have settled in the New 52 Earth with their son. An Earth a lot more like theirs, yet different. And on this Earth, two Supermen could be a disaster. For years, things were under wraps as the couple stayed below the radar, as Clark fought evil under the cover of darkness and Lois opposed crime as a journalist, but secretly and anonymously. But secrets don’t stay hidden for long, and their son Jonathan is caught in the crossfire. Now, the question that arises is: Is it time for the original Man of Steel to come out in the open?

AWE-someness:

The art is superb, and the story is mind-blowing. With the nice action and tone, it was intriguing.

My Review:

An intriguing plot. The Superman, Lois Lane, most of us grew up with, is back in this. This is a Road to Rebirth title, and Dan Jurgens pulled it off smoothly and cleverly, bringing the classic Superman back, leading to the Rebirth status quo. Building up the excitement of the readers along with Jon’s curiosity was a smart & cute way to hook the readers and also a wonderful way to tell the story. It also offers a nice contrast between the worlds: post-crisis and the New 52 by highlighting their difference. This is a very good read and a must-have, but before that, you might want to get your hands on Convergence, coz it’ll boost your excitement a lot more in an astounding way to appreciate this marvel.
