Synopsis:

After her debut in Superman/Batman (2005), the teenage Kara Zor‑El arrives on Earth and finds herself struggling with her identity with various super folks, including Superboy and Power Girl. And her encounter with Lex Luthor and a mysterious black kryptonite escalates the matter out of hand as a darker version that emerges from her!

 Awesomeness:

Impactful scenes and beautiful plots on the classic superhero tropes, albeit it was short.

My Review:

This book is a follow-up to Superman/Batman: Supergirl. Supergirl is still coming to terms with the other superheroes and villains. Her clash with Power Girl and Superboy demonstrates her raw power and teenage emotions, which resonate well with readers. But the clashes are a standout moment. The plot becomes more exciting with the split. The central plot is a bit gimmicky, but intriguing, and is short. Some clashes between other heroes felt a bit forced.

In the CW’s Supergirl, Melissa Benoist played the role as Supergirl/Kara, perfectly.

Rating: 4.7/5 stars.
