My review:
It’s a brilliant plot; I just loved it. DCAU recreated it with a few drastic changes. It was good, but the comic is way better than the animated movie. When I was thinking about buying a new book for a few of the ‘Lost Pages’. I chanced upon it and had it covered in my private collection. So, now I have the Gotham Super Special dedicated completely to the ‘Tower of Babel’ storyline. This saved one of my oldest books from being replaced in my Pandora. Anyway, the deluxe edition was not worth the money, as I wanted the Tower of Babel core-related ones only in it, and it had stories that weren’t as connected as these ‘Lost Pages’ were, so I wasn’t enticed with the rest.
Now, talking of the story, Grant Morrison and Mark Waid worked wonders and kept the final decision by keeping the core members sticking to the measures required. Albeit Ras Al Ghul was the main antagonist, it was interesting to see his daughter, Talia Al Ghul, and her on-and-off lover play their effective roles. The confusion between the allies, their emotions are shown brilliantly in the image as well as the text.
