Synopsis:
The issue reveals an untold story, before the events of the movie, when the young princes Baahubali and Bhallaladeva participate in an epic and deadly tournament of champions against some fearsome warriors from around the world. Getting the egg of a legendary ratnapakshi alone can save Sivagami and her kingdom of Mahishmati’s honor. So, with everything at stake, both brothers decide to succeed where many have failed, and the price for failure is nothing less than death!
AWE-someness:
The art is okayish, and the plot is enjoyable.

My Review:
I loved the movie: Baahubali—the beginning as well as the conclusion, both parts, though there were more exaggerations and a few flaws. First, more than the sequel, but still, they were great. When I came to know that it was gonna have a comic, I was enthralled to read it, and I bought it when it came out.
The comic’s storyline is adventurous and a fun read, syncing the character’s presence as it should. It captures the movie’s essence, making the read intriguing and worth its time! It has Devasena’s first chronological appearance in respect to the Baahubali universe, albeit there’s a minute factor that seems to counter the movie storyline a bit, but it’s still okayish, I guess, to ignore it for now!
