After two decades, the originals are coming back!

Yeah, it is confirmed. The 2005 Fantastic 4, along with Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine are coming back and this is great, absolutely great! They’re coming back in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Chris Evans as Johnny Storm aka Human Torch, Jessica Alba as Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman, Ioan Gruffudd as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic, and Michael Chiklis as Ben Grimm aka The Thing.

Chris Evans’ Johnny Storm appeared briefly in Deadpool and Wolverine, while Ioan Gruffudd will debut in Fantastic Four: First Steps as one of Reed Richards’ board members.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dark Angel star had said that, “No one has talked to me about [a return], but I would jump at the chance…”. The Sin City star has nothing but fond memories after working on 2005’s Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer after winning a Razzie Award for the role of bold and strategist Susan Storm.

And, we all have heard or read that, Secret Wars will reboot the MCU. Let’s wait and see what the Russo brothers have in store for us.
