Surprise! Surprise! Who doesn’t love a good ‘ol Marvel surprise?

Daredevil: Born Again will premiere in March 2025. And this will be considered as the path to Defenders’ next saga.

With the Defenders Saga incorporated officially as part of the Sacred Timeline, everyone is pumped up to meet the old Netflix gang in the MCU in late 2023.

Brad Winderbaum, Head of Marvel Television and Animation recently teased, “It’s all one shared universe, so you never know where characters are going to pop up next. It’s a huge opportunity to have officially folded those stories into our canon.” He also added, “Whether or not they were always part of the canon, it’s now official, and we can play with those toys in our toy box. There are surprises around the band that I won’t get into, but for fans of the Netflix shows, we’ve got a very exciting show on the horizon in Daredevil: Born Again.”

Earlier Netflix Marvel Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and The Defenders were not considered canon earlier. But with their incorporation in Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Hawkeye, and Echo, were the game changers.

As per the Daredevil: Born Again trailer, other than Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin respectively, some of the old Netflix Marvel cast, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle aka Punisher and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter aka Bullseye. All the guesses are on a cameo of the superhero-turned-private investigator, Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter as she having been expressed interest multiple times in returning as her and also on Bethel’s return.

With the plot details under wraps for Daredevil: Born Again, the series is said to be picking up years after the events seen in the Netflix series.

Daredevil: Born Again will premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
