The yearning to see Batman and Wonder Woman will have to wait

David Corenswet in and as James Gunn’s Superman was a big success at the box office. After its success, he has moved quickly to get Man of Tomorrow all set.

Man of Tomorrow will have Lex Luthor and Superman team up against the impending threat. But as the wait goes on, all are excited to see the next two members of DC’s Trinity, Batman and Wonder Woman, be introduced. Rumors were flying about their appearances. But now James Gunn himself has answered the speculations.

The online rumors of Bruce Wayneand Diana Prince appearing in Man of Tomorrow were growing unchecked. James Gunn responded:

But then another user stated whether he can confirm (in some capacity), and James replied, “Yep,” and that alone shuts down any hope to see the two Trinity members making their appearances.

Maybe it is a good move, or maybe not. Many would’ve wished for the Trinity to appear, but Superman and Lex Luthor teaming up is not an everyday thing, and that itself is already filling up the screen, and involving the other two will be like stealing them off their limelight.

The Amazonian Princess and the Dark Knight need their space even when it’s a cameo, as it can have a titanous impact. Anyway, let’s see who the female hero will be, now that Wonder Woman’s not there for sure — as some thought.

Man of Tomorrow is set to be released on July 9, 2027.
