Avengers: Endgame has the biggest opening ever around the globe with a record $1.2 billion

The movie that ended the MCU Phase Three, Avengers: Endgame, is all set to make a comeback once again.

Yeah, the second-highest-grossing movie ever is getting re-released ahead of Avengers: Doomsday, on Sept. 25, 2026. Doomsday will hit the theaters on Dec 18, 2026.

Avengers: Endgame, the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War, wrapped up MCU Phase Three, albeit Spider-Man: Far From Home dealt a tad with the aftermath or an epilogue of sorts, for more future events. Endgame had Thanos, played by Josh Brolin, across space and time, wreaking havoc to annihilate half of the universe.

Iron Man, aka Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr. in the MCU so far, is set to play Victor von Doom, aka Dr. Doom, the next big baddie in the MCU. If Endgame brought many heroes together from across the universe, excluding Gamora, who’s a variant, this flick’s gonna bring a much bigger band of heroes from across the universes. Yeah, this flick’s cast will include the old cast as well as the new ones of Thunderbolts*, Fantastic Four: First Steps, and X-Men.

But this act has triggered some doubts in the minds of a few for now: Is Victor von Doom somehow connected with Tony Stark or his final action in Endgame? What’s the play!? What is the Russo Bros. playing?

None of us has a clue, other than to wait for Doomsday to arrive. Endgame ($1.94 B) is also the second-highest-grossing MPA film to Avatar ($2.924 B).

Avengers: Doomsday is set to release on December 18, 2026.
