Hercules—another big guy!

After two captivating seasons of Tom Hiddleston’s MCU Character, Loki evolves from a notorious villain to the unlikely hero everyone loves—his past seems pretty restless in one way or another.

In a newly released deleted scene from Loki Season 2, in a conversation with Mobius, Loki reflects on many figures who deemed him ‘a problem.’ Loki recounts the occasions that have defined him.

Loki lists Thor’s allies—the Warriors Three: Volstagg, Hogun, and Fandral. He also names Laufey along with Bor. Loki even mentions Heimdall twice, adding, ‘Heimdall was a big one!’ Jane Foster, her colleague Erik Selvig, and her intern Darcy Lewis. Loki recalls crossing paths with S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury and Agent Maria Hill. He even mentions Donald Blake ‘who Thor pretends to be when he goes to Earth’.

During this moment, Loki introduces two notable Marvel Comics characters yet to meet/face in the MCU. Amora, the Enchantress, an Asgardian sorceress (One of Thor’s most persistent foes). Next in line is Absorbing Man, a boxer—Carl Creel. After Loki tries to poison him with an elixir that transforms into a supervillain with the power to mimic the properties of anything he touches.

And finally, in the end, Loki reveals the name of the Greek demigod; Loki says the name—Hercules—who made his debut in the post-credits of Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) after Zeus was humiliated by Thor asked his son to bring down Thor. This scene seemed normal until the deleted scene proved that the connection predates the post-credit moment.

In it, Loki says, “Hercules—another big guy,” Loki tells Mobius with a sly grin. “I was a big problem for him.”

Now, with the unseen moments Loki Season 2 will be available on 4K UHD Blu-ray from Dec. 3. So now, the fans have more reason to see Hercules come to the MCU, as it seems not everything is fine between them!
