Daredevil: Born Again S02 isn’t out yet, and S03 receives an update

The continuation of Netflix’s Marvel series, Daredevil, with Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprising their roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, respectively, premiered on Mar ’25, Daredevil: Born Again.

As everyone is sitting excited for Daredevil: Born Again S02 airing in Mar ’26, a third season is expected to make its way in ’27.

Now, as per Nexus Point News, positioned in MCU Phase 6, the Marvel Show is casting a new character for season 03.

Nothing much is revealed, except that:

The role is being referred to under the codename Philip, and the casting call is looking for open-ethnicity actors in their twenties. Philip is described as being a smart and scrappy New Yorker who’s sweet and lovable with a hidden rageful side.

No further details were revealed. This sounds exciting, while Jon Bernthal, who played as Frank Castle/The Punisher in Netflix Marvel as well as in MCU’s Daredevil: Born Again S01, will feature in a Punisher special and will appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, along with Mark Ruffalo. Also, Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as Jessica Jones in Season 02.

Dario Scardapane will continue as the showrunner and executive producer of season 03. Also, production for season 03 is slated to begin in Mar ’26.

Daredevil: Born Again season 02 is set to premiere on March 4, 2026, on Disney+, and Daredevil: Born Again season 03 is set to premiere in Mar 2027.
