Marking the series’ 20^th anniversary, the original series is set to return with four new episodes

The official X account of Naruto announced the airing of four new episodes of the original ‘Naruto’ series on Sept 3 in early July 2023. But considering the production quality issue they delayed the release.  Naruto debuted on screens in Oct 2002, and these episodes were to mark its 20^th anniversary since.

Naruto became a grand show for many. After Naruto, its sequel Naruto Shippuden, and a spin-off Baruto: Naruto Next Generation, kept the fans’ spirit alive.

In a recent TC Tokyo report, the President and Representative Director of TV Tokyo Holdings stated that a new Naruto TV anime has been scheduled for the end of the fiscal year (March 31^st, 2025) commemorating its 20^th anniversary, eyeing a worldwide distribution. They’re said to be in the process of finding a good partner to close the deal.

The four-anniversary episodes were teased alongside a visual showing the pre-Shippuden Team members, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi. 

Now, what stories they are gonna say, we gotta wait and see!
