Gotham by Gaslight 2

The world of Batman: Gotham by Gaslight has just entered its very own Kryptonian Age, and it’s bringing two iconic DC femme fatales along with it as they have set their eyes on a ring crafted from the alien element, and are not gonna sit and waste time to get ahold of it.

Let’s take a look at who these two are; who love to live dangerously.

Selina Kyle debuted in 1940’s Batman #1 in Bill Finger and Bob Kane’s story, “The Cat.” In the decades since, Selina Kyle, better known as Catwoman, however, the DCU was reimagined. From playing the antagonist role, she became Bruce Wayne’s love interest with a bit of a criminal lifestyle.

Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Batman’s foe Ra’s al Ghul, debuted in 1971’s Detective Comics #411 by writer Dennis O’Neil and artist Bob Brown. And like Selina, she too has been a friend, ally, lover, and foe to the Caped Crusader. She is a member of the League of Assassins and the mother of Damian Wayne, the biological son of Bruce Wayne and the 5th Robin.

This sequel expands beyond Gotham City’s borders exhibiting once-familiar heroes/villains in a new perception. Stay tuned for the final chapter of the crossovers saga after three days! 😉
