An experiment with the Life Foundation resulted in creating a new symbiote from a fusion between the Carnage and Anti-Venom symbiotes. During a battle with Corwin Jones, Alchemax’s former Guardsman, the flask containing the symbiote fusion was broken, allowing the new symbiote to bond with Liz Allan.
To strengthen the bond with Liz, it helped Liz come to terms with her past, and later, after defeating Corwin Jones’ Madness, and later play a significant role in Venom War, and during the fight with the Zombiotes and teaming with Black Widow, she freed the infected people from the Zombiote plague.
Powers:
Misery possesses the combined powers of the Carnage and Anti-Venom symbiotes. And as both the symbiotes are constantly trying to destroy one another and regenerating, it has developed a powerful and rapid healing factor and malleable physiology.
