Gotta build ‘em all

LEGO has DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Minecraft, Sonic the Hedgehog, TMNT, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, and Fast & Furious vehicles. And now, Pokémons are also here.

Yes, LEGO has officially stepped into the Pokéverse, introducing their first-ever line of buildable Pokémon sets, thus marking a collaboration between the two brands.

Launching on Feb 27, worldwide, this initial rollout includes three headline releases featuring Pikachu and Poké ball for $199.99, Eevee for $59.99, and the three Kanto starter evolutions, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise for $649.99, inviting fans to “build their Trainer journey, brick by brick,” rendering some instantly recognizable Pokémon designs into poseable LEGO models. They’re mainly aimed at collectors and longtime fans, and also at young builders.

Julia Goldin, LEGO Group’s chief product and marketing officer, told:

Bringing the world of Pokémon to life in LEGO bricks is both an exciting opportunity and a great responsibility.

Julia also added, “We’ve worked to combine our worlds in a way that truly celebrates the creativity, adventure, and wonder that Pokémon represents. This partnership opens up a whole new range of possibilities for Trainers and builders alike, and we can’t wait for fans to experience these new LEGO Pokémon sets.”

Affixing the lineup is a 2,050-piece build Pokémon Pikachu and Poké Ball, recreating one of the most iconic images, Pikachu leaping into action from an opened Poké Ball. Builders can construct Pikachu in a mid-battle stance or in a seated pose alongside a closed Poké Ball.

Each Pokémon features unique articulation with additional hidden details throughout the build.
