Wade Wilson to be replaced by Ellie Wilson, as the Deadpool
Yup, you read it! The upcoming Deadpool #7 will be more than a game-changer. A female is gonna continue the Deadpool legacy.
Ohh, you think it’s Lady Deadpool, with the whole Deadpool & Wolverine in the theaters! Nope, it is not Wanda Wilson, or any other variant from any other Earth…this one is from the main Earth i.e. Earth 616, this is Ellie Wilson!

Who’s this Ellie Wilson!? Yeah, just like you we’re also perplexed. On the last page of Deadpool #4 (2024), tagged ‘Next #5’, Wade’s decapitated head is held in Ellie’s hands and it asks her to grab Daddy’s other arm.
Did he say ‘Daddy’? Is Ellie, Wade’s daughter, if so how? Questions are rising, but Marvel is ‘Shhh…’ on this. As per a worthy source, this announcement was made at San Diego Comic-Con in a Diamond Comic Distributors retailer lunch meeting.
More info will be revealed as time comes, but till then we all have to keep guessing.
Some answers lie in the past which takes us to the 2015 Marvel event, Original Sin. During Original Sin’s story arc, Deadpool vol. 6: Original Sin, it was revealed that Deadpool has a daughter by the name of Eleanor from his old flame Carmelita. Everyone calls her Ellie, and she’s a mutant.
Ellie is a fan of Deadpool, but she often feels uncomfortable around Deadpool’s violent nature. Well, this is something to be seen. Ellie has grown since we last saw her. Can’t wait, bud!
