Now, for the final part of this crossovers saga, let us look at a few more.

Remember Judge Dredd, who is a judicial officer and law enforcement in the dystopian future city of Mega-City One of North America.

Well, let’s see what happens when the intergalactic hunter faces one of the most dangerous earthly law keepers in a Dark Horse Comics and Egmont Fleetway collaboration, Predator versus Judge Dredd (Oct-Dec 1997), which includes all three issues to decide who is the law,

Predator/Judge Dredd

but that didn’t stop the crossover fantasies and soon the law keeper faced off against the perfect killing machine in Judge Dredd versus Aliens: Incubus  (Dec 2002-Apr 2003),

and the law keeper finds himself in an aggressive ruthless feud in Predator vs. Judge Dredd vs. Aliens: Splice and Dice  (July 2016-Jun 2017). All three are considered canon to the Judge Dredd franchise.

The perfect killing machine aka Aliens has been a pain in most of the universes. Their rampage extended to WildC.A.T.s/Aliens  (Aug 1998). A one-shot which is collected in DC Comics/Dark Horse Comics: Aliens. It is canon and set between the events of Stormwatch vol 2 #10 and #11, and between WildC.A.T.S vol. 1 and vol. 2.

There’s also a  2-issue Backlash/Spider-Man (Oct 1996) crossover, which is stated to occur on Earth 7642. And this Spidy is Ben-Reilly, as Pike crosses paths with Venom who is in search of spawns of Carnage and gets tricked by Pike into thinking Taboo’s symbiote is one of them.

The perfect killing machine and the ruthless hunter have created havoc in every universe to some extent. And, now they are facing the Terminator in Aliens versus Predator versus The Terminator (Apr-July 2000). Some say they are canon to one of the universes. Some say they are not. Most probably they are not, but who cares? I have got to know that the story is pretty goriness-packed-explosive-action.

Well, and now two of the two iconic horror franchises collide in a fashion everyone would wish for. In this 6-issue Aliens/Vampirella (Sept-Feb 2016) the horrors clash.

Away from these sources of terrifying darkness, other sources of dark avengers collide in a one-shot Batman/Darkness  (Aug 1999)

and the dark avenger from Top Cow verse collides with the Man of Steel in a two-issue Superman vs. Darkness (Jan-Feb 2005),

and all three are collected in a 20th-anniversary The Darkness Anniversary collection (July 2017).

DC’s Superman also has a crossover with Dark Horse’s Madman Hullabaloo in Superman/Madman Hullabaloo (1998). Different universes and an enticing plot along with the presence of Mr. Mxyzpitlk make it canon-worthy and is considered one of the biggest crossovers for Madman. It is included in DC/Dark Horse: Superman. It is actually a hullabaloo!

Another such crossover is  Spyboy/Young Justice: Young Spies Like Us (2002). Some consider it as a canon while some consider it otherwise. But whatever be the case, everyone agrees that it’s a fun-and-silly read.

Superman/Tarzan

In an Elseworlds tale, Man of Steel faces the Man of the Apes, in a three-issue tale where it is reimagined as Superman and Tarzan living one another’s life in Superman/Tarzan: Sons of the Jungle  Oct-May 2002,

while almost three years before the Superman-Tarzan Elseworlds tale came out, the Man of the Apes had a non-canon crossover with the Dark Knight in Batman/Tarzan: Claws of the Cat-Woman (Sept-Dec 1999). In this Crossoververse Earth as two orphaned noblemen who have found ways to perfect themselves meet each other and decide to come together to help the princess of Memnon protect their properties.

With that said the Dark Knight had strange crossovers with a group of teenage squabbly ninja turtles in a six-issue Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles  (Aug 2017), followed by another six-issue team-up in Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II  (Aug 2018), which is followed by another six-issue team up between both in Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III  (Apr 2020). All three were collected in Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Omnibus  (Aug 2023).

But apart from the aforementioned mainline crossovers with the turtles, there is one more crossover. Here the  TMNT Nickelodeon cartoon and Batman: The Animated Series collide in a six-parter collected in Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures  (Nov 2016).

Now we shall see when the Dark Knight and his team of super friends clashed with Angel Grove’s mighty warriors in a six-issue crossover, Justice League/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Dec 2017). One enticing power clash!

Speaking of the Power Rangers and TMNT, both the group meet each other in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2020) as they work together to defeat evil and save the world from total destruction.

In the sequel, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II (2023), the teens with attitude meet the heroes in half-shell once again to combat a new threat with the creation of a secret weapon. Forbidden alliances collide, but will it be enough to defeat Krang and send him back to Dimension X?

Evil never rests and always look for a way to conquer others. The same thing happens as the evil sorceress Rita sets her sights where her foes don’t exist to foil her plans, and instead she finds alien conquerors, the Xiliens unleashing Kaiju to defeat Godzilla, and the two join forces. What follows is collected in Godzilla/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (2022).

In this sequel, Rita Repulsa makes a comeback with new allies to conquer the universe. But the teenagers with attitudes have decided to find allies in Godzilla and other monsters deep in the multiverse in Godzilla/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers II (2024). Its TPB is set to release on February 2025.

Now, let us look as two of the childhood heroes with powerful swords from different worlds collide against the expected and unexpected evil in an aesthetically sketched and enthralling storytelling six-issue He-Man/Thundercats (Jul 2017).

But the clashes of powers are tested when the He-Man and Masters of the Universe seek Batman’s help to retake Eternia, he comes face to face with the Injustice universe’s Superman and his force. In an exciting six-issue Injustice vs. Masters of the Universe (Jan 2020), no world is safe as dictators are all-out for blood. There is a possibility that this could be a canon.

And now, what better way to bring the conclusion to this seven part crossover saga to an end with clashes between two worlds?

In DC Comics Presents #47 (Apr 1982), Superman and Masters of the Universe face off against Skeletor. There was a time wrap and stuff but still this is seen as a fun crossover. It is collected in the DC vs. Masters of the Universe TPB.

The title ‘From Eternia With Death!’ is a pun on ‘From Russia With Love’, a James Bond novel.

de-he-man #47

DC/He-Man

The DC vs. Masters of the Universe (Sept 2014) is canon to the He-Man’s universe while to DC it is an alternative DC (The New 52) verse.

And as a bonus, let us tell you this book is a must-have as this one brings a fantastic but strange connection between both universes to light.

We’re there are a few more which we have overseen or skipped. But if you wanna tell us, or want us to tell those, do share about them or let us know. Oh also do tell us about the crossover/s you have or would love to have, in your Pandora.

This was one big article, hahaha! No wonder, crossovers are fun! If we readers are having fun by just reading them, am damn sure the comic houses will be going crazy in a good way while having them created and published.
